Displaying both sincere and enthusiastic interest, the participants were able to experience firsthand the uncompromising effectiveness of the school founded by Okuyama Shizan, and many expressed their wish to pursue further study within the tradition. The experienced Ju no Michi practitioners, accomplished yudansha, distinguished themselves through their refined technical sensitivity and deep receptiveness to the essential principles of the Okuyama® Ryū, noting that these principles would undoubtedly prove invaluable in the enrichment of their own personal practice.
